Family meal

Feels so good to be back! Sunday, August 14th will be the first t.b.d. dinner in what feels like decades! Just like most things, a lot has changed over the past few years. Our destination for one, but that’s the beauty of t.b.d., it’s ever evolving, creating new experiences at every dinner. We’re located in the Columbia River Gorge in the Pacific Northwest. Sounds somewhat ambiguous, and that’s how we like it. If you’re not familiar, the Columbia River separates Oregon and Washington. It’s a big, beautiful river that hosts wind surfing and the like, as well as other outdoor adventuring. Mount Hood stands magnificently to the South, Mount Adams to the North, with the eastern Cascades rolling in the middle. It’s a fairytale setting and we will proudly host events on both sides of the gorge. If you’ve never been to the area, you’re missing out. But keep it a secret, ok? We’d like for it to stay just the way it is.

We’re starting fresh, using as much of nature that surrounds us to craft exciting menus, using classical techniques as well our intuition and whims to invent something unique along the way. You feel? It’s a journey, one that we love, and our team has come from all corners the country to share what we’ve learned during our own culinary exploration. The team, unofficially named The Dead Fingers, includes foragers, hunters, gardeners, chefs, and some badass bartenders. It’s going to be good!

Our first dinner will be located north of White Salmon, WA. We will be serving 3-4 courses with pairings and you can expect something on the lighter side cause it’s hot out there! The menu is a secret, how exciting! But keep in mind that we here at t.b.d. use dairy, gluten and meat at our dinners and if you are opposed, I apologize. The menu features ingredients from our garden, what nature has available, local raised proteins and hopefully, fingers crossed, wild caught fish. You deserve the finest and the freshest!

Seats are limited so grab your tickets here!

Let me explain our group name, I can feel you have questions. No, we will not be serving any sort of phalanges at our dinners…at least not from humans. Rest assured! Each one of us in the Dead Fingers has injured a digit so badly to the point where there is permanent nerve damage resulting in that…feel no pain, dead kind of thing. Maybe that makes us a tad bit morbid, but it truly delights us. We’d love to hear if you have a dead finger, please leave your story in the comments below. :)

We’ll see you at the dinner!
