Hello, I’m Kristen.

I began cooking over 15 years ago, training in Chicago before spending much of my career as a private chef, with time on the line in a handful of restaurants along the way. I’m classically trained in the culinary arts and also a certified nutrition coach, with a continued interest in learning, refining, and evolving my approach to food.

My work is rooted in thoughtful, seasonal cooking—meals built from real ingredients, prepared with care, and designed to leave you feeling both satisfied and nourished. I’m drawn to food that feels grounded and balanced, where flavor, texture, and simplicity come together in a way that feels both natural and intentional.

t.b.d. Table by Destination began as a traveling pop-up concept and has since evolved into a series of private dinners and gatherings throughout the Columbia River Gorge. Each event is shaped by its setting, the season, and the people around the table. It’s designed as an opportunity to slow down, connect, and share a meal that’s meant to be experienced from beginning to end.

When I’m not cooking, you’ll likely find me in the garden or exploring the outdoors, often where the inspiration for each menu begins.
