TAble by destination

Table by Destination or t.b.d. is a traveling pop up restaurant.  Where our table lands is t.b.d.  Our menus reflect the location, environment, season, mood and is also t.b.d. The food is paired with wine, spirits, beer and completely based on the current menu for each event and, you guessed it, is t.b.d.  Each Table by Destination location is secret until 1-2 weeks before the event when the location will be disclosed to our guests.  Our dinners last a t.b.d amount of time, usually several hours allowing our guests to enjoy in the scenery, drink and cuisine.  Time between courses will vary, sometimes 30  minutes or so, and is intentionally done. Unless specified our meals are meat, dairy, and gluten friendly.

We are based in the Pacific Northwest.  Each secret location is within the city limits or within and hour or two from Portland.

We invite everyone to join in on the experiment, let us take care of you for an evening. We promise a unique shared experience, full bellies, a relaxed setting where you will make new friends and maybe see old ones.  

who are we?

We are just a bunch of food nerds who can't get enough of the back breaking labor of love cooking for others.  Kristen Young founded Table by Destination with some good buddies Angela Jones and Joel Parker in 2016.  Together we created the idea of t.b.d. over drinks and too much food. Our excitement grew as each dinner passed.  Now over a year later our dear friend Angela has moved to Colorado and Joel is off vagabonding around the world.

Kristen, with help from dear friends, like Laura, is caring the flame. We had dinners with wineries, breweries, in private homes and dinners open to the public. And now our adventure continues as we create new events, find awesome locations to host dinners and best of all, cook for others, our labor of love.
